Eleanor Roosevelt said, "You must do the thing you think you cannot do." Yoda said "Do. Or do not. There is no try." Both compel us to action through simple, effective language.

I’ve seen this formula at work in more than 100 organizations across the country, as staff member, consultant, and board member. A determined strategic approach and effective communications win results.

The questions are: What future do you envision? Who do you need to help get you there and how will you get them to care? And, what's your game plan for bringing it all together?

For more than 20 years, I’ve led and supported organizations and collaboratives as they’ve realized their visions through effective strategies that leverage communities and stakeholders -- and achieve powerful success.

I’m a Chicagoland native, the son of an investigative journalist and press secretary. I grew up engaged in dinner table debate and falling asleep to the sound of a manual typewriter. This instilled in me a sense of purpose and a love for inspiring communications.
