Social sector organizations have grappled with increasing demand for them to achieve a "double bottom line," and to share and show their results. The concept of sustainability has emerged as a framework to support their efforts. A critical component of that work is advancing credibility through powerful communications. So many leaders and organizations have been busy doing the work and just haven't taken the time or committed the resources to "marketing" themselves. I wrote this article, while I was traveling the country and helping inspiring leaders and groups to tell their stories.
